Bac Ha: Sunday Market

On Sundays the normally quite town of Bac Ha erupts with activity and color spurred by the weekly market. The Hill Tribes of the surrounding mountains and merchants from the lowlands pour into town to socialize and exchange goods. Despite a bit of rain the scene was packed and charged with energy--great fun to explore.

Flower Hmong women in their bright traditional dress dominate the scene.
